Justice Systems Security & Operations Review
Justice Solutions Group provides a comprehensive one-day workshop for justice facility administrators to review their current facility physical and operational security plans leading to a outcome of enhanced security operations.
This workshop identifies the need for addressing critical security tasks. Course content includes recommendations for the establishment of a Security Task Force specifically designated to focus directly on jail safety and security issues and ensure that all critical security functions are checked, completed and documented. The STF would be responsible to review, inspect, correct and document all security concerns within the Jail and other jurisdictional areas. It shall also provide continuous security inspections on varied shifts and days to include the perimeter and interior security fencing, housing unit yard enclosures, facility roof, locks, cells, windows, common areas and all security doors. Other functions include maintaining authorized personnel lists, emergency response planning and maintaining equipment/tool inventories. This would include utilization of standard reporting forms, photo identifier logs and mandatory inspection/security check protocols.
JAILS ARE TYPICALLY REACTIVE OPERATIONS
One factor in protecting the integrity of the facility is to be able to demonstrate that the agency consistently performs and documents essential security tasks.
