Program Validation & Conceptual Design
Planned as an adult detention center for the Fort Peck Indian Community, the new facility will replace the Tribe’s current adult jail. The new facility will address increasing crime rates mostly related to alcohol and substance abuse.
The architect of record retained the services of Justice Solutions Group to validate the needs assessment & master plan document produced by the tribes’ previous consultant. In addition, the space program was revised to reflect the “Restorative Justice” philosophy of the tribe and a conceptual design produced as a potential model state-of-the-art detention facility for Indian Country.
